I have been involved with HopeArts since 1996, first as a member of the Arts Council (a group of organizers and thinkers) and later as the gallery manager.

I was a calligrapher for 25 years and taught calligraphy for 21 years. I have also been a writer for 24 years. Wow, sounds like a long time when you write it down.

I'm married to a great 4th-grade teacher and ceramic artist, the Scary Potter, also known as Mr. V.
